The goal of Burrito Shak was simple. With a family; children ages one and three, founder, David Longo noticed a need for a restaurant that served up quality ingredients with flavorful chef inspired recipes in a quick dining atmosphere. He wanted to keep the menu tasty, yet affordable for all to enjoy.
In the spring of 2015, David Longo wanted to take his skills and experience and create a more casual, family-friendly restaurant concept that offered delicious, flavorful options in a quick service concept. This is how Burrito Shak was born. The concept is built on Chef and Entrepreneurs David Longo’s 23+ year career in restaurants, including executive chef in fine dining establishments and foodservice management.
Burrito Shak is a combination of everything our family loved; flavorful food, beach vibes, and family. The founding Burrito Shak is located just 10 miles from the beach, so we knew to give our menu and décor a coastal vibe was a must!
Went by at 8:52 PM (they close at 9) and was worried they would be shutting down and wouldn't serve us. But they were still in full swing, people ordering and eating in store. Our first time and staff was very friendly, flexible and accommodating. Lots of ingredients to customize, very similar to Moe's southwest grill but more simple menu. Taste was excellent. Everything tasted very fresh. They are giving out plastic ramekins of salsa during the pandemic instead of their salsa bar. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. We are happy it is only 7 minutes from our home. Affordable, will be going back frequently for a good quick bite!
